At the start of this project, I was excited and optimistic; I thought it was a fantastic idea. However, there were a lot of uncertainties. I wasn’t sure if we would finish on time, if we’d secure all the necessary parts and supplies due to funding limitations, or if we could handle all the challenges, especially since none of us had ever done anything like this before. What I did know, though, was that we had a strong, dedicated team—people willing to put in the extra effort to make this happen.
We’ve invested countless hours into this skoolie, and the results are evident. While we’ve faced setbacks along the way, we’ve never let them hold us back. We’ve been quick to solve problems as they arise. We’ve also received significant support from local businesses, who generously lent us supplies, helping us get to where we are now. Additionally, we organized breakfasts for teachers on e-learning days, which helped raise money for the project.
Although we were all newcomers to this type of work, we’ve done a great job, and we’ve managed to stay organized and professional throughout the process. The painting and window installation took some time, but now that those are complete, progress is moving much faster. I’m confident we’ll have everything finished by the time of the Spring trip—though it’ll be close.
It’s been a great year with no major issues, and we’re determined to keep things on track and complete the project to our satisfaction before Spring Break.
